Softball Recap: Pendleton Gets the Win

Pendleton won the last time they faced Walhalla and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Razorbacks.

Abigail Meredith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Maggie Long was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Caroline Runion, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Pendleton's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Walhalla, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

As of now, neither Pendleton nor the Razorbacks have any future games scheduled.
