Baseball Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Seminole's offense. They came up short against the Blanchard Lions on Wednesday, falling 19-0. The Chieftains haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Blanchard, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Seminole will square off against Bishop McGuinness at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blanchard, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Blanchard Lions face off against North Rock Creek Cougars at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Rock Creek will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
