Softball Recap: McAllen Memorial Comes Up Short

McAllen Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in March.

McAllen Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianna Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that Flores hit this season.

McAllen Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

McAllen Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-1 defeat against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North on the 11th. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against McAllen on the 11th.
