Soccer Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Greenbrier Panthers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Parkview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Greenbrier are ranked 22nd).

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Greenbrier, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Parkview didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Maumelle on the 8th. As for Greenbrier, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Little Rock Christian Academy on the 8th.
