Basketball Game Preview: Aquinas Knights vs. Mogadore Wildcats

The Aquinas Knights will venture away from home to take on the Mogadore Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aquinas is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Aquinas is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 82-43 win over St. John. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Knights with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Mogadore came up short against Ravenna on Tuesday and fell 67-55. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aquinas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Mogadore, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Aquinas didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mogadore in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 58-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aquinas since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
