Soccer Game Preview: NSU University vs. Westminster Christian

The NSU University Sharks will head out on the road to face off against the Westminster Christian Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

NSU University's last match might've seen four goals scored, but the final result was still a bit underwhelming. Neither they nor Archbishop McCarthy could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Westminster Christian kept a clean sheet against St. Brendan on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sabres. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Katerina Diaz-Silveira was the driving force of Westminster Christian's attack as she scored both of Westminster Christian's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

NSU University's draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-4. As for Westminster Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

NSU University took their victory against Westminster Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for NSU University since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
