Basketball Game Preview: Loretto Mustangs vs. McMinn Central Chargers

The Loretto Mustangs will face off against the McMinn Central Chargers on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Loretto comes in on nine and McMinn Central on five.

On Saturday, Loretto took their game with ease, bagging a 61-27 victory over Stewart County.

Meanwhile, McMinn Central was able to grind out a solid win over Pigeon Forge on Saturday, taking the game 53-45.

McMinn Central's victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Loretto, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.

Loretto was able to grind out a solid victory over McMinn Central in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, winning 59-48. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
