Softball Recap: Nevada Union Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Nevada Union entered their tilt with Placer on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hillmen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-9 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Lexie Spangler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Nevada Union's record now sits at 6-13. As for Placer, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.
