Preview: Ridgeway Roadrunners vs. Lausanne Collegiate Lynx
The Ridgeway Roadrunners will head out on the road to face off against the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Tuesday, Ridgeway was beaten by Memphis East 61-30. While losing is never fun, Ridgeway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Memphis East is ranked 42nd).
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Lausanne Collegiate had to settle for a 49-47 defeat against St. Benedict at Auburndale last Thursday.
This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeway and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Lausanne Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
