Soccer Recap: Port Chester Comes Up Short

Port Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Plains Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against White Plains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 two weeks ago.

Port Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-2. As for White Plains, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Port Chester is set to square off against their familiar foe Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, White Plains will take on rival Mount Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
