Basketball Game Preview: Pulaski County Cougars vs. Hidden Valley Titans

The Pulaski County Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Hidden Valley Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pulaski County is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Pulaski County came up short against Blacksburg and fell 62-54.

Meanwhile, Hidden Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 56-52 to Graham. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the G-Men are ranked 50th).

This is the second loss in a row for Hidden Valley and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Pulaski County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Pulaski County and Hidden Valley were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting on January 2nd, but Pulaski County came up empty-handed after a 61-60 defeat. Can Pulaski County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
