Volleyball Recap: Evanston Falls Short Against Ranked Green River

Evanston faced Green River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Devils have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Barbora Bratrsovska paced Evanston's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bratrsovska got some help from Braelynn Morrison and her 35 assists. Kyan Lawlar controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 22-17. As for Green River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Evanston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Rock Springs on the 1st. Green River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
