Cuero won the last time they faced Navarro and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cuero Gobblers greeted the New Year with with a 54-37 win over the Navarro Panthers.

Cuero's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-4.
