Soccer Game Preview: Carter vs. Sevier County

The Carter Green Hornets will venture away from home to face off against the Sevier County Smoky Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Carter's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Fulton with a sharp 7-0 victory. It was an even better day for Jaiden Davis as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Sevier County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Tigers 6-0. Sevier County's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six matches.

Carter's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Sevier County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Carter suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Sevier County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Green Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
