Volleyball Recap: Nine Straight Road Victories for O'connor

O'Connor won the last time they faced Casteel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The O'Connor Eagles blew past the Casteel Colts 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-17.

Noah Kaoni paced O'Connor's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kaoni got some help from Jack Slight and his 24 assists. Slight also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Diego Garcia, racking up four apiece.

O'Connor pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Casteel, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Coming up, O'Connor will face off against Mission Vista at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Casteel, it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when Casteel Colts face off against Brophy College Prep Broncos at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
