Galax typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Fort Chiswell proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 55-44 win over the Galax Maroon Tide. This was a revenge game for the Pioneers: when they faced off against the Maroon Tide on February 4th, they had to take a 57-42 defeat.

Fort Chiswell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. Galax's loss dropped their record down to 17-3.

Fort Chiswell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Galax, they will square off against Bland County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
