Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Gramercy Christian Warriors, falling 10-1. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 542nd, while Gramercy Christian are ranked 228th).

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Gramercy Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3-1.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will head out to take on Washington Montessori at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Christian will be up against Washington Montessori's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.88 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gramercy Christian, they will square off against Christ Covenant at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gramercy Christian will need to watch out since Christ Covenant have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
