Bradenton Christian waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons by a score of 11-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.
Joey Puccia made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Bradenton Christian got a massive performance out of Garrett Duquette, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Duquette a new career-high in doubles (two). Connor Henderson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
Bradenton Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
