Football Recap: Leonard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Prairiland last Friday, Leonard came back down to earth. The Tigers had to suffer through a 76-21 loss at the hands of the Lindsay Knights. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Leonard's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lindsay, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leonard will venture away from home to square off against Callisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lindsay, they will head out to face off against Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
