Soccer Game Preview: Madison vs. LEE

The Madison Mavericks will venture away from home to face off against the LEE Volunteers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Madison had taken Brandeis down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Mavericks fell 3-1 to the Broncos.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, LEE was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against Reagan, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, LEE can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Reagan are ranked tenth).

LEE's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Madison, they now have a losing record of 4-5-2.
