Baseball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside and Wren squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Westside had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Hurricanes. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Hurricanes: they've now lost six in a row.

Westside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Holmes, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Wren, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Westside nor Wren have any future games scheduled.
