Volleyball Game Preview: Red Hill Salukis vs. Robinson Maroons

Red Hill hasn't had much luck against Robinson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Salukis will take on the Maroons at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Monday, Red Hill didn't have quite enough to beat Patoka and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Red Hill sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Robinson didn't have quite enough to beat Hutsonville/Palestine on Monday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Robinson sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 18-25, 25-13.

Red Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Red Hill came up short against Robinson in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, falling 2-0. Can the Salukis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
