Nixa entered their tilt with Lebanon on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Nixa took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Cora Kubik and Taylor Wood, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Peyton Creed and her 18 assists.

Nixa's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Lebanon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13-1.

Coming up, Nixa will head out on the road to challenge Saint Thomas Aquinas at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lebanon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waynesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
