Carson lost to Concord back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Cougars walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Spiders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Caylee Snow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Caroline Snow was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. McKenzie Powers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Carson's record is now 4-12. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carson will face off against rival South Rowan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Concord is set to take on their familiar foe Northwest Cabarrus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
