Football Recap: Fresno Takes a Loss

Fresno lost against Minarets back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of the Mustangs.

Minarets had a senior duo take command as Torin Wolf threw for 370 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes and Caden Larsen picked up 229 receiving yards and three scores. Larsen's longest reception was for an incredible 90 yards.

Fresno's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Minarets, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fresno will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Torres at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Minarets, they will take on Fowler at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will also give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
