Softball Preview: St. David Tigers vs. Valley Union Blue Devils        
        
		
            
 St. David is 9-1 against Valley Union since April of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The St. David Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Valley Union Blue Devils at 3:45  p.m. St. David will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
 On Wednesday, St. David beat Desert Christian 10-6.
  Anissa Jacquez was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with a  home run and six  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Emelynn Jacquez, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.
 Valley Union never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Baboquivari on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp  19-6 win.
 St. David's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Valley Union, their win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-11.
 Everything went St. David's way against Valley Union in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 as St. David made off with  a  13-1 victory. Will St. David repeat their success,  or does  Valley Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
