Baseball Recap: Jena Has No Trouble Against Brookhaven

Jena's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 14-3 margin over the Brookhaven Panthers. The Giants might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Jena got a big performance out of Jonas Jenkins, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Jenkins has become a key player for Jena: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Taylor, who scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
