Central Davidson had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt High Point Central on Thursday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bison. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on four straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-14.

Kylee Ribelin paced Central Davidson's offense, picking up six kills. Ribelin got some help from Lauren Chesney and her 11 assists. Chesney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Central Davidson's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for High Point Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Davidson is set to square off against their familiar foe Lexington Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, High Point Central will take on rival Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
