Baseball Recap: Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Takes a Loss

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association lost against St. Christopher back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Christopher's Saints. The matchup marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association got a good showing from Brooks HUBER, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Loudon TRASK, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for St. Christopher's, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will head out on the road to square off against Woodberry Forest at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Christopher's, they will face off against Norfolk Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Christopher's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Norfolk Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
