Basketball Recap: Deerfield Takes a Loss

Deerfield and Cunningham squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Deerfield had to settle for second. They fell to the Cunningham Wildcats 41-37. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Deerfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Cunningham, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-15.

As of now, neither Deerfield nor Cunningham have any future games scheduled.
