Nixa had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lutheran Cougars by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Taylor Wood and Gwen Kubik, who picked up eight kills apiece. Wood also shared the team's lead in assists with Peyton Creed: they picked up nine each. Wood was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Nixa's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15-1.

Nixa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Park Hill South on the 11th. As for Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Springfield Catholic on the 11th.
