Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nicole Kauffman and Kelsey Joshua Lead Oakleaf to Victory + How To Watch

Oakleaf's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tocoi Creek Toros with a sharp 3-0 win. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Toros walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Oakleaf might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Tocoi Creek scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

Oakleaf was led to victory by Kelsey Joshua and Nicole Kauffman. Joshua had 11 digs and three assists, while Kauffman had five digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Kauffman a new career-high.

The win got Oakleaf back to even at 2-2. As for Tocoi Creek, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Oakleaf will be playing at home against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tocoi Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Atlantic Coast on the 2nd.
