Basketball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 57-38 fall against the Snowflake Lobos.

Despite the defeat, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy had strong showings from Hannah Johnson, who posted 18 points, and Noelle Sunukjian, who earned seven points.

Snowflake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tayli Hancock out in front who had nine points. The dominant performance gave Hancock a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Klaire Reidhead, who put up eight points.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-4. As for Snowflake, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-44 victory against Show Low on the 4th. As for Snowflake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-43 win against Alchesay on the 7th.
