The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Green Wave recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Willows Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-28, 25-14.
St. Edward can attribute much of their success to Scarlet Enright, who had 14 digs. Enright is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last four games she's played.
Willows Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for St. Edward, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-22-1.
Willows Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Edward, they are on the road again on Thursday to play Harvest Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. Harvest Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something St. Edward surely won't give up without a fight.
