While Two Rivers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Simley Spartans on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three matches in a row.

Two Rivers was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16.

Two Rivers' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Simley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7-1.

Two Rivers didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Harding on the 20th. As for Simley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Humboldt at 6:30 p.m.
