Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Union Spartans. The Leopards were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

While Lakewood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-6.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Union, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Coincidentally, Lakewood and Union will both be playing East Columbus the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Leopards will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
