Football Game Preview: Nipmuc Regional Warriors vs. Northbridge Rams + How To Watch

The Nipmuc Regional Warriors will head out to challenge the Northbridge Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Northbridge will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Nipmuc Regional extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Warriors took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over Assabet Valley RVT. The contest marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.

It was another big night for Eben Consigli, who rushed for 117 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards. Those 117 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Tyler Rainbow, who rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nipmuc Regional was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 183 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Northbridge made easy work of Blackstone Valley RVT on Saturday and carried off a 32-6 victory. Considering the Rams have won four matchups by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Nipmuc Regional's record now sits at 4-2. As for Northbridge, their record is now 5-1.

Nipmuc Regional was dealt a bruising 48-21 loss at the hands of Northbridge when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
