Soccer Recap: South Stanly Comes Up Short

South Stanly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Albemarle Bulldogs, falling 5-1. The matchup was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for South Stanly it sure didn't stay that way.

South Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Albemarle, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Stanly is set to face off against their familiar foe Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Albemarle will square off against rival Gray Stone Day at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
