Baseball Recap: Miller Grove Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Miller Grove finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Leverett's Chapel Lions. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Hornets haven't been shut out since back in March.

Miller Grove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eastin Christian, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Christian is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Miller Grove's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Leverett's Chapel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6-1.

Coming up, Miller Grove will take on Slocum at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Leverett's Chapel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
