Soccer Recap: Pewaukee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fond du Lac on Thursday, Pewaukee came back down to earth. The Pirates fell just short of the Hamilton Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Pewaukee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Hamilton are ranked 28th).

Pewaukee's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Hamilton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pewaukee will square off against Watertown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamilton, they will challenge Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
