Williamson came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Athens Wildcats.

Williamson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-17, 25-18, 27-25.

Olivia Nolan paced Williamson's offense, picking up 17 kills. Nolan got some help from Raegan Vangorden and her 31 assists. Abby Gehman controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Forbes has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Meg Wiles, who had four digs and three aces.

Williamson's win bumped their record up to 21-6-4. As for Athens, they moved to 7-12-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Williamson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against North Penn-Liberty on the 25th. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
