Football Game Preview: Watford City vs. St. Mary's Central

Watford City had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Saturday they take on St. Mary's Central at Bismarck Community Bowl at 6:30 PM. Watford City come in off of six low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-36, which was the final score in Watford City's tilt against Turtle Mountain.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Central faced Shanley in a battle between two of the state's top teams. St. Mary's Central fell to Shanley 7-14. St. Mary's Central's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
