Volleyball Recap: Oconee County Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Sidney Tranel and Annabelle (AB) Cureton

The Oconee County Warriors came up short against the Seckinger Jaguars on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Oconee County's loss came despite strong showings from Annabelle (AB) Cureton and Sidney Tranel. Cureton had seven digs and three aces, while Tranel had five digs and one assist.

Oconee County's loss dropped their record down to 29-12. As for Seckinger, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.

Oconee County will square off against Prince Avenue Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Seckinger, they will face off against Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
