Volleyball Recap: Tarrant Starts Season with Win Against Wenonah

Tarrant had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Wenonah Dragons 3-2. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-100) Tarrant actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 12-25, 21-25, 25-19, 17-15.

Looking ahead, Tarrant will be playing at home against Shelby County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wenonah, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sipsey Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
