Softball Recap: Lakeridge Pacers vs. Newberg Tigers        
        
		
            
 Lakeridge scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-3 margin over the Newberg Tigers. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the season.
  DELANEY HOYLE made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. HOYLE has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. HOYLE was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  MADELINE MOEHL was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  stolen base.  MARIN LAFRANCE was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Lakeridge has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. As for Newberg,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-5.
 Lakeridge will be playing at home against Nelson at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Nelson's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three matches. As for Newberg, they will head out on the road to  face off against  South Salem at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
