Baseball Preview: Bluegrass United Bluehawks vs. Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees
Bluegrass United hasn't had much luck against Bethlehem recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bluehawks will head out on the road to take on the Eagles/Banshees at 5:30 p.m. Bluegrass United will be strutting in after a win while Bethlehem will be coming in after a loss.
Bluegrass United took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Christian Educational Consortium, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bluehawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Cougars on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Bluehawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

John Byrd made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bluegrass United is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-7 otherwise. Byrd was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
