Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sycamore walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 69-35 victory over the Fairfield Indians. The Aviators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Sycamore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brooke Burgess led the charge by going 9-for-13 on her way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenadie Benjamin, who went 8-for-9 to rack up 17 points.

Sycamore's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Fairfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
