Pendleton Heights had won six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Saturday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it seven. They breezed past the Heritage Christian Eagles to the tune of 79-50. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Arabians just coasted through the last quarter.

Pendleton Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adah Hupfer out in front who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. Those 26 points gave Hupfer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Jones, who went 9-for-15 to rack up 24 points.

Pendleton Heights was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage Christian only racked up six.

Having lost for the first time this season, Heritage Christian fell to 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Despite the loss, Heritage Christian still got an impressive performance from Elyse Snively, who posted 17 points and six boards. The contest was Snively's third in a row with at least 15 points. Riley Johnson was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

Coming up, Pendleton Heights will head out on the road to take on Lawrence Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Arabians will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Heritage Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
