Basketball Recap: Kcanna Keiswetter's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Norton over Scott

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Norton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Scott Beavers by a score of 37-35 on Thursday. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Norton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kcanna Keiswetter, who posted 11 points. Keiswetter is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hallie Brooks, who scored ten points and seven rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Norton and nudges their season record down to 9-13. As for Scott, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

As of now, neither Norton nor Scott have any future games scheduled.
