Softball Recap: Millbrook Comes Up Short

Millbrook lost against James Wood back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pioneers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colonels.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for James Wood, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Millbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for James Wood, they will head out on the road to square off against Handley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Judges have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.73 runs per game on average), something the Colonels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
